I am Aurimas Valujavičius, a long-time vlogger and a traveler, Lithuanian Traveler of the Year, and a Lithuanian record holder for the longest kayaked distance across the Danube River – 3068 km in total.
My motto is to achieve life goals you never did so far, you must do things you have never done before. With that being said, I seek to paddle an ocean rowing boat across the Atlantic to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the historic “Lituanica” flight of two Lithuanian pilots – Steponas Darius and Stasys Girėnas. During this most significant challenge of my life, I will cover a distance of 8 000 km from mainland Europe (a seaport in Spain) to mainland North America (a seaport in Florida).
Challenge is my second name, so I seek more than row across the Atlantic. I seek to set a new world record in doing so within 110 days.
