Who is Aurimas Valujavičius and why does he want to row an Ocean?

I am Aurimas Valujavičius, a long-time vlogger and a traveler, Lithuanian Traveler of the Year, and a Lithuanian record holder for the longest kayaked distance across the Danube River – 3068 km in total.  My motto is to achieve life goals you never did so far, you must do things you have never done before.

My motto is to achieve life goals you never did so far, you must do things you have never done before. With that being said, I seek to paddle an ocean rowing boat across the Atlantic to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the historic “Lituanica” flight of two Lithuanian pilots – Steponas Darius and Stasys Girėnas.  During this most significant challenge of my life, I will cover a distance of 8 000 km from mainland Europe (a seaport in Spain) to mainland North America (a seaport in Florida).

Challenge is my second name, so I seek more than row across the Atlantic. I seek to set a new world record in doing so within 110 days.
